Promoting PEFC certified products:
  • All its mobilisation and wood conversion activities are handled by a multi-site PEFC control chain
  • 100% of finished products in maritime pine (and fur) produced by GWP are PEFC certified
  • semi-finished products for furniture and packaging industrial manufacturers are guaranteed "made of 85% certified raw material"

Reduction of the global energetic consumption and main use of biomass (replacing fossil energy by biomass)
 effect on greenhouse gas emissions and other emissions due to combustion
Value of sawing and planing wastes: sales to the paper and pannel manufacturers, or auto-consumption in Gascogne boilers as green energy 
Anticipating on forthcoming standards on air quality regarding VOC emissions (volatile organic compounds)  use of solvent-free products at the aqueous stage at Castets site.
