Forestière de Gascogne operates at the heart of the Aquitaine forest. It specialises in sustainable forest management and supplying wood to the Group's processing plants, i.e. its sawmills and paper mill.
Gascogne Wood Products
On 1 February 2008, Gascogne Wood and Gascogne Imberty have been pooled into Gascogne Wood Products.
Gascogne Wood Products is France's leading supplier of wood for pallets and packaging applications, producing more than 170,000 m3 per year. It is France's most productive sawmill operation. Its Escource, Castets and St Symphorien sites, located in the Landes and Gironde departments, consume almost 700,000 tonnes of undressed timber per year.
These plants use the most modern feeding, edging, grading and quality enhancement technology.
Gascogne Wood Products specialises in wood products for interior and exterior decoration applications. Gascogne Wood Products' expertise and innovation are demonstrated by its product range, which is unique in its diversity and which is sold in France and across Europe. With its specialist panelling, flooring, cladding and decking ranges, Gascogne Wood is a market-leading multi-specialist.
