Certifications
B.R.C.I.O.P. (British Retail Consortium Institute Of Packaging) : highest standard for food packaging ever obtained by Gascogne Sack Mimizan plant. This certification is the highest english reference regarding food safety and a "must have" for pet food customers.
ISO 9001 certification version 2000: certification of the quality management system at the six European sack sites
Norme ISO 22000 (european high level food standard) : obtained by Gascogne Sack Mimizan and Nantes plants.
OHSAS 18001: certification of the health and safety management system at our sack business in Greece. The French sack businesses are also in the process of gaining certification.
PEFC (forest sustainable management): Gascogne Sack's control chains of french plants are certified, development of PEFC-certified paper sacks with Rip Curl, partnership with the Landes regional council to promote PEFC-certified paper sacks, extensive new range of certified sacks in 2007.
ISO 14001: certification of the environmental management system at our sack business in Greece
BAM: our German sack business has been awarded BAM certification for the production of sacks used to transport hazardous materials. RHP "Risk Highly Protected" label: Gascogne Sack (St Herblain - France) is Gascogne group's first site obtaining this level of protection. |
