They can be processed using machines that require precision input materials and have high throughput. They are also popular with users that need natural but modern papers with specific characteristics (Alios / Gascogne / Hendaye / Eurokraft).

• Speciality papers
Treated barrier single-material papers (grease resistant, fire retardant, etc.), mostly featuring a surface treatment. To meet smoothness requirements, many products are calandered.
Speciality papers often have a plain appearance. Those with a ribbed appearance can therefore be used to stand out in some markets (Silcoforce / Oléane / Solvea / Firea).
This family consists of papers with unique fibre compositions.

Natural sack kraft papers
SacKraft range: high strength with various options: semi-extensibility, wet strength treatment, high porosity.
Natural sack kraft paper has two matt faces, and is used by companies specialising in producing medium and large sacks. These papers are usually "extensible", and they feature varying porosity and treatments depending on the product to be packaged.
A third of production is used by companies specialising in producing small, medium and large sacks worldwide.
These papers can also be used as base papers for coating, laminating, and packaging.
