Concerned with conserving the environment and reducing costs, Gascogne Laminates has implemented targets for reducing waste and controlling emissions at all its sites.

 The Gascogreen™ 1055: a laminate comprising 2 recycled and recyclable papers, a plant-based scrim (made of natural wood fibre) and a binder made of compostable and biodegradable biomaterial, prepared with more than 85% renewable raw materials and more than 75% recycled raw materials for a green safety envelope.
- Increasing use of compostable materials (NF EN 13432 standard), PEFC or FSC certified materials and/or renewable resources for manufacturing silicon-coated laminates and bases.
- PEFC and FSC certified self-adhesive laminates
- A constant commitment to reduce the weight of packaging and protective material and to promote the various current developments.
- Client assistance (in the envelope market) in the approach based on the “Paper by nature” statute.
- Aluminium-free barrier laminates
Aluminium-free packaging solutions with a high barrier level.
- Polypropylene backings with recycling solutions
Gascogne Laminates is the partner of a company that reprocesses PP backings to form granules; these are then used to manufacture paddles, pens, flower pots etc.
- Water-based ink printing solutions
- Compliance with the European REACH regulation pertaining to the registration, evaluation and authorisation of chemical products.
